How long have you worked in case management?
I have been working in case management for 8 years.
How did you find your way into the profession?
I started as an agent with Farmers right out of college and transitioned into a case management role with NYL about a year later and the rest is history.
What is your favorite thing about being a case manager?
I love being able to work with the agents every day. Building those relationships is for sure my favorite part of the job.
How has the NCCM certification impacted your career?
For me I think it has refreshed a lot of important information but also added valuable information that will make my life easier going forward.
What was the most valuable part of the NCCM certification course for you, and why?
I think the most important part of the course was the content. Not only was I learning new items, but I was reaffirming things I already knew. I think this was the most important because my confidence in my role increased substantially.
