The NAILBA Case Manager Certification Program helps train and develop new case managers on the life insurance case management process, while certifying existing case managers on the key skills, responsibilities, and best practices that are essential for their role. The program, which has been designed with a life insurance focus, is comprised of eight online learning modules with mastery quizzes for each module.
The Case Manager Certification Program cost is $995 for NAILBA Members and $1,595 for Non-NAILBA Members.

This certification is so advantageous for all of us in the field. There is a lost opportunity cost when firms have to train case managers on their own. They often must pull away their most senior case managers to train new people and develop case managers who are falling behind. I am so excited about the opportunities this program creates for agencies and carriers across the life insurance industry. Two of my veteran case managers with over 20 years of experience went through this program and they could not believe the information that was in there. This program was designed for boutique life insurance firms as well as larger firms and carriers. When it comes to case manager development, some firms only have 3 or 4 case managers on staff. To train someone new, you have to pull one of your senior case managers away and make them a trainer. That process can last weeks to months depending on skill sets, which creates service and consistency issues boutique firms often struggle with. With COVID, the value of the NAILBA Certification is even further enhanced because it allows you to train virtually with a uniform platform that provides the same education for everyone.
